At 49% this mezcal is strong, but the alcohol does not overpower it. It has some unique flavor notes not found in other mezcals made from agave Espadin. I’m not a professional taster, but I will say that if you enjoy such liqueurs as Drambuie and are intrigued by ...There are high notes of sticky fruit on the nose as well as funky notes of leather and musk. Also meaty/smoky notes. The flavor is all of that and then some.
